I do not feel comfortable borrowing money. Also: Why would you risk (what’s left of) our friendship by putting it in peril over money? When I say "nope can't do it" they act all offended and leave grumbling! He can stay away though. So, do I want to be the grumbler or others with MY money? Um, I told her, thx for her concern but yes, I am comfortable with the arrangement.
