Morgan provides great insight to the Puritan family in New England. The Puritans were "Christians," in that they believed in Jesus Christ yet some may argue that they did not lead "Christian" lives. Another curious Puritanic intrepretation of Christianity was social order and subordination. I am hesitant to comment too much on this book because my knowledge of this period of history is weak.
