There was a line up starting on opening day but it's worth it.This place is crazy busy. We ended up with garlic, onion, scallops, and shiitake mushrooms. We also placed a dessert order that we ended up canceling since they forgot about it and we didn't want to wait anymore than we already had. #WECANKATSUDAT. No idea how a restaurant in 2020 lets scammers run fake GrubHub pages like this. Simple menu of delicious foods, I particularly like the mac salad, cucumber salad, scallops, lotus root & shrimp. I finally had a chance to stop by last Saturday. Let me start by saying it was more than an A-OK but not a Yay! Page Transparency See More. The word "attempt" being emphasized because I could not get past the hole-in-the-wall look of the place. If you've ever had real kushikatsu, you know you're supposed to dip/submerge it in sauce before eating, but that's just not possible here.

We ordered 10pc kushi, 5pc vegetable kushi, oyakodon, unadon, nabeyaki udon, spicey eggplant and gyoza. Service is fab, walk up to order then find a seat, food is quick so seats turn pretty quickly. Congrats Taku!Ordered on Grubhub, waiting outside the restaurant 15 mins after the app said it was supposed to have been done, then called the listed # only to find it was some random guy and not the restaurant and that the restaurant never got my order. Give it a try!I was so excited for this place to open as a new option for late night food, especially kushikatsu which is so hard to find in Seattle! It's served with some bomb katsu sauce (which tastes like it's made in house??) Oyakodon's chicken was moisture and soft, perfect with egg.
Agreed with the A-Ok but not great comment below. It's FANTASTIC. I've been weary of ever posting reviews for how tough I am to please when it comes to food. However, the initial reviews and Instagram hype are sadly misleading.

I had to ask about my order twice and it finally came out after waiting for 30 minutes for three pieces... only to be disappointed for it to be dripping in grease and that none of the pieces can actually fit in the sauce cup they provide.
