Inside, there are some big common rooms, but not very much seating. I question why she had not had any rehabilitation after two weeks, and they are telling me she gets range of motion every morning, except on weekends, which is when they don't work, (guess one only needs physical therapy on weekdays, but ok). I am completely unhappy here. I got strong enough to go home and I'm sure of myself.

Keep looking/ Do not place anyone you care about in this rat hole. By the way, I'm not saying there's no one here that is good, there are. The nurses and the hospice nurse advised me to file a complaint which I did. When I walked into his room there were dirty adult diapers laying all over, all of his clothing was soiled & he was in bed in soiled underwear both days I saw him. This was about a week after being admitted. And the real kicker is: they get MAD at you for asking for help!! Instead of getting stronger, she's languishing in bed all day with little/no mental stimulation.
I do hope the therapy she is getting is good as this facility is quite expensive. The PT department is fantastic and helped me to walk again after a few short weeks. The rest of my fathers stay was pretty much the same. During my dads stay, he didn't get his meds on a regular basis nor physical therapy nor breathing treatments nor showers. I went to the room and it was even more disgusting.
I took her back to her room and got her into bed, This person cannot walk or swallow., She wanted to lay on the bed as she was very tired from the therapy. There's no extra space, no lawn, no parking for everyone. Unsanitary, understaffed and underfunded. I think they are a major reason on why I am updating my review. They have an alternates menu and would always try to make her happy. She shows genuine concern in her patient care, suggests and adjusts meds as she sees fit to keep our family member as happy, engaged, and both physically and mentally as comfortable as possible. We also never received a response from the director, in spite of the fact that they are required to respond to complaints such as these. I'll do all the dirty work--just help me for five minutes to lift her. Both the Executive Director and the Director of Nursing are "hands on" in attending to our concerns and take appropriate action immediately.
