The Landscape book is even more `sketchy' because he produced most of them just for the book. His style is also very diffcult to emulate. He is also the co-host the popular brewing podcast, Brew Strong. Prices vary enormously between booksellers and I've just checked Abebooks To sum up I can understand some will look at John Palmer and think him quite tight and realistic - verging on super realistic at times. John has this amazing and unique drawing tecnique.
