Feb 10, 2018 - Prayer to St. Adrian of Canterbury St. Adrian, though not as well known as other saints in the milieu of education, centuries ago you changed the landscape of English learning. St. Andrew Kaggwa, model Catechist and teacher, obtain for us a love of the teaching of Christ.
Even though St. Kizito is distant, we do so in the spirit of solidarity that we as a parish have committed to. Through regular communication with St. Kizito’s, various fundraising projects, occasional visits, and other outreach opportunities between our parishes and schools we are growing closer together. Our concern drives us to help our brothers and sisters who struggle to live in one of the most difficult conditions in the world. We also want to celebrate and nurture reasons for hope.

Through learning about the lives of St. Kizito’s members, who are persevering and following Jesus despite unimaginable adversity, we hope to gain inspiration to live His word more faithfully in our own lives.

He was baptised on May 26, 1886 and later executed on June 3, 1886 on the orders of Kabaka Mwanga at Namugongo. For the last 18 years, the Catholic community at Kasana-Luweero Diocese has converged at the Waluleta shrines to pay homage to St Kizito, one of the Uganda Martyrs.
St. Charles Lwanga, patron of the Youth and Catholic Action, obtain for us a firm and zealous faith. St. Gyaviira, shining example of how to forgive and forget injuries, obtain for us the grace to forgive those who injure us. We, your brothers and sisters, implore you to intercede for us before God, for the grace to imitate your virtues of fortitude, charity, and fidelity.
