Do you have any suggestions for making it more structurally sound, so kids could fight with it? My goal was to make a press that made very even bends, did not impart waviness to the edges, and produced a truly circular curve to the shield. This makes the total length of the shield about 32".
My template was too big for the wood so I hand sketched all the lines in for the shield and skull. I tried to tape off the edge so I could add a white stripe on the outside edge but the paint bled through the tape.
