ca' momi happy hour
The pizza oven has the best bread to pair with burrata too. But the kitchen has really found its footing. Come here if you enjoy Tapas but not if you are expecting typical Italian food.Delicious!!! Ca’ Momi Osteria is Downtown Napa’s Obsessively Authentic Italian restaurant, featuring a bountiful menu that celebrates the purity of local & organic ingredients from small producers melded expertly with hundreds, if not thousands of years of Italian culinary history.
It s 11:00 AM on a Sunday morning and every other restaurant in this plaza is packed Villa Corona is almost empty. The pizzas and breads are delicious but main dishes are overpriced. It was very delicious! The food is excellent and the desserts are as well. Everything was on point! I've been under the weather so my co worker recommended this place. A little disjointed. While I understand wanting to make modifications when you're dining, the menu says ON THE FRONT and in adorable little verbiage about tiny grandmothers that modifications will not be made.
We went for dinner and were immediately seated for our reservation time. Authentic.Today is Mother's Day. Grab a draft beer for…They have both fresh pasta and dried pastas. Will definitely try doing this at home the next time we make pizza.Terrible service, had to yell across the room to get his attention three times, he completely forgot a dinner salad, no one checked on us once. OK, fine we got seated, ready to have a good time. JT takes care of his customers! We crave the spinach gnudi, the prosciutto and burrata served with plain baked pizza dough is a must-have. Read reviews and book now. They are only doing takeout, but it was well worth it.Ordered the Spaghetti Alle Vongole via doordash and honestly... probably the worst meal I've ever had. I hate to give a poor review for a place that has good food, BUT hear me out.I hate to give a poor review for a place that has good food, BUT hear me out.I know it's kind of indulgent, but we drove to Napa just to try Ca' Momi Osteria because it looked so delicious on Check Please, Bay Area.Service was great, food is delicious. This means no substitutions (unless you have food allergies) and cooking nose-to-tail to avoid wastage and honor all ingredients. The lower reviews for this place are super confusing to me. When you are craving very good Margarita pizza, go to Ca' Momi. The food is good the customer service sucks. If you don't know much about Italian food might be a little hard to fine something that you might like due to the menu wording. I ended up ordering the Capricciosa with no cheese. It was very dark in the restaurant and we weren't the only ones who used the flashlight on our phones to read the menu.Overall this place is good, but I was disappointed they no longer had the Happy Hour Pizza Special. Highly recommend other establishments in the area if you are interested in authentic Italian food worth your hard earned dollars. Ready to get up and walk out. With above average prices, and a somewhat limited lunch menu. Great Italian place in downtown Napa that our Airbnb host recommended! Inspired by our Italian heritage, we blissfully prepare our heartcrafted cuisine with obsessive quality and integrity.
