Oliver's Story book
Loved the writing style. Published
If you were alive in 1970, you knew the plot of LOVE STORY--either by seeing the movie or reading the novel, which was truly terrible.
CLIMAX: 3.5/5. Got it for my Mother for Christmas, she's told me all about this book and how she loved it, wishing she could find it again. and was i glad that she was a bitch after all. but a part of me doesn't want him to get involved with someone else and forget Jenny.
With Phil as his only constant from those days, which feels to him more like a different life, there is not much he looks forward to. He was best-known for writing the novel “Sometimes I ask myself what would I be if Jenny were alive.“Sometimes I ask myself what I would be if Jenny were alive. Please try againSorry, we failed to record your vote. If you hear bells, get your ears checked.”- Erich Segal, Love Story. Erich Segal seems to know exactly what I'd want in a woman; every time I finish one of his novels I wish there were more. I studied literature at university for 4 years, and I am always serious about literature. How can an author write a book like Love Story and follow it up with this stinker?I don't know why people did not like this. . He lost his loved one ...Finally after all these years I got around to reading this sappy sweet story from the other point of view.
i know i wanted Oliver to have a good life because he deserved to move forward.
Most of the novels by most of the big name writers we read today, are unfortunately not entertaining at all.
The story centres on orphan Oliver Twist, born in a workhouse and sold into apprenticeship with an undertaker.
I thought Oliver's Story would be a nice quarantine diversion.
Susan Sloate, Best-selling Author, FORWARD TO CAMELOT and STEALING FIRE So you really can’t hold this against me.Let me start by saying I did like Love Story.
Goodreads helps you keep track of books you want to read. Or so Oliver told himself. Two years have passed since Jenny was taken from him, and Oliver truly believes he will never love again. I think that the author did a fantastic job of making the reader feel what the hero of the story feels. His writing is extremely witty, elegant, humorous in a natural way, and intellectual and highly entertaining. I recently watched Love Story again, which I loved when it first came out. Purchased a part of a christmas present as I already have a copy bought years ago. And since I loved Love Story, no one could stop me from reading this one, even if I know that Jenny wouldn't be in it.As Cher said: "Do you believe in life after love?"
Having read about maybe a hundred writers in the last 10 years, I have found one simple truth: most of the writers do not know how to write a novel! I loved LOVE STORY and welcomed a continuation of Oliver's character. In the middle of the book, it was getting boring and i was hoping that Oliver will not fall in love. Their love was magical, exhilarating . Let us know what’s wrong with this preview of While Oliver's Story was annoying to a great extent, I kind of understood his journey of trying to overcome his grief and loss and finding acceptance. . And she's another WASP this time. I didn't know it would end just LIKE THAT!!! This one is good the way it is. If you hear bells, get your ears checked.”- Erich Segal, Love Story.I inevitably had to read the sequel to Love Story after I wiped up the last snot bubble from reading the first book.

Although The Love Story is actually adapted into a novel from his own screenplay, Segal wrote a masterpiece with only 120 pages. Please try againSorry, we failed to record your vote. Needless to … and though heartbreakingly brief, it was enough to last a lifetime. But Segal belongs to a class of his own. Welcome back. No, not really cause sometimes you don't want to move on after reading all about Jenny.
and suddenly the future holds a golden new promise. The poignant and unforgettable sequel to the beloved classic Erich Segal was an American author, screenwriter, and classics professor. Thoroughly enjoyed it, sometimes very amusing and an interesting insight into human nature. But then, I was actually satisfied with that ending and I found the book so amazingly perfect. :) Liked it and hated it. Having said that comparing this with Love Story would not be right since this book is not a love story.
