Pantanal Matogrossense, Brazil --The vast Pantanal Matogrossense National Park is part of one of the world's largest tropical wetlands, and one of the richest ecosystems found anywhere outside of the Amazon.
Peppering the water are giant lilypads that sit like big, green dinner plates on a tablecloth of muddy blue. It's especially beautiful at sundown when the light reflects off the water.
Pantanal Matogrossense National Park was founded in 1981 and it is the entrance of the city of Poconé - 180 km from the city of Cáceres.
