All children swim once a week in our 25m indoor pool and there are before and after school swim options for Years 3 to 6. Pupils also compete with other schools in inter-school matches on a regular basis from Year 3 onwards. The historical Westonbirt House is part of the school. Children in Years 3 to 6 move to a larger building called Querns House.
We offer a range of programmes to suit different year groups, topics and needs from EYFS up to university groups.
This is a celebration of all they have learned and achieved across six areas of learning: Core Academic (English, Maths and Science), Humanities (History, Geography and RE), Creative Arts (DT and Art), Performing Arts (Music and Drama), Sport and Outdoor Activities and Skills for Life (First Aid, Life Saving, Cooking, Spanish, ICT). Prep school children compete each year in the IAPS (Independent Association of Prep Schools) National Swimming Finals gala and often take home several medals! This is paramount in enabling children to participate fully in school life alongside their peers.At the end of Year 6 pupils are awarded the Westonbirt Diploma at our Prize Giving. Pupils can participate in a full range of sports based after school clubs aimed at both groups and individuals.
