I didn't open the textbook once the entire semester.Professor Edelstein was a solid choice for GOVT060 and truly engages his students. You do not need to do the reading though they are all very interesting.I highly recommend this class! Amelia Redmond is also the best teaching assistant! Would take again. Lectures are informative and help you understand the International System; he is also occasionally quite funny. Has little fun games that are both entertaining and informal. Your grades depend on your TA.He seriously cares about his students. Due to the long duration of the class, the class was very quiet and boring since it's all notes. Racist Score 3.8. He doesn't teach very often, so when he does, take advantage of it.Well-prepared and clear lecturer, but grades depend entirely on how many facts you can memorize from the lecture notes and readings. He is a very genuine person and always asks students how he can improve his teaching/lectures. He adjusted the class to make it easy and made sure to check in with us each class. I took him for Music 107 Fall 2018, and it was my absolute favorite class. You can tell he really enjoys the subject that he teaches. Favorite professor so far!He is awesome. I wish I never had to Straightforward, good foundation, fair grades, interesting.a sweetheart! His slides and outline are shared on Canvas before class but make sure you do the reading because the class expects you to know IR theories for exams.Loved this class with Edelstein.
