A well-ordered hardware store owner in Buenos Aires will see his life turn upside down when he helps a stranded Chinese man who doesn't speak a word of Spanish find his uncle in the bustling city. While both participating in a production of "Death of a Salesman," a teacher's wife is assaulted in her new home, which leaves him determined to find the perpetrator over his wife's traumatized objections.

Everybody Knows movie reviews & Metacritic score: Carolina, a Spanish woman living in Buenos Aires, returns to her hometown outside Madrid with her Argentinian husband and children. Not in English even though the trailer was in English. Foreign movies that make it to the US market are usually the ones who won some sort of award. So glad we purchased it. Rouhi, spending her first day at a new job, finds herself in the midst of a different kind of fireworks -- a domestic dispute between her new boss and his wife. I find foreign movies in general very powerful and with an accent placed on dialog and psychological depth. A journalist strikes up a romantic relationship with notorious drug lord Pablo Escobar. It's so nice to have a real movie and settings rather than CGI and "Come with me if you want to live" mentality.
This is the worst movie we have seen in many years! 25 of 46 people found this review helpful. Recently before seeing this I saw Prisoners and I was expecting the same kind of movie, but it wasn't.
